COOKIES
How we use cookies and similar technologies on veril.studio — and how you stay in control.
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Veril Studio (“Veril Studio”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit veril.studio, verilstudio.com and their subdomains (together, the “Site”). It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, and the choices you have.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains in more detail how we collect and handle personal information.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, keep them secure, and give site owners information about how their site is used.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other organisations are called third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
We also use similar technologies, such as scripts and browser storage, that work in a comparable way. In this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
3. How we use cookies
We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal. We use them in two categories:
Strictly necessary — these keep the Site secure, protect it from abuse and allow core features such as password-protected pages to work. The Site cannot function properly without them, so they cannot be switched off.
Analytics — these help us understand how visitors find and use the Site, such as which pages are most popular and how people move between them, so we can improve our content and design.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not sell the information collected through cookies.
4. Cookies we use
The table below lists the cookies currently used on the Site. Durations are the maximum period a cookie stays on your device unless you delete it sooner.
Our hosting and security providers may occasionally set additional short-lived, strictly necessary cookies (for example, Cloudflare’s __cf_bm bot-management cookie, or a cookie that remembers you have entered the password for a protected page). These are used only to keep the Site secure and working.
5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited, to measure how the Site is used. Google Analytics only loads if you choose “Accept all” in our cookie banner. If you choose “Reject all”, or have not made a choice yet, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent to Google.
Google Analytics may collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, how far you scroll, links you click to leave the Site, file downloads, interactions with forms and embedded videos, the website that referred you, your device type, browser, operating system, screen size and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Where you enter details into a form on the Site, Google Analytics may also collect that information in a hashed (pseudonymised) form to improve measurement accuracy.
We use this information only in aggregate to understand and improve the Site. You can learn more about how Google uses data in Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data on all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

To design, deliver and run the Site, we rely on a small number of trusted providers. These do not set cookies on the Site, but your browser connects to them directly, which means they may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details:
Webflow and Cloudflare — host the Site and deliver its pages, images and files securely.
Google Fonts — delivers the typefaces used across the Site.
Content delivery networks (jsDelivr, unpkg, cdnjs and Amazon CloudFront) — deliver the scripts that power our animations, smooth scrolling and interactions.
Klaviyo — if you subscribe to our newsletter, the email address you enter is sent to Klaviyo so we can send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
The Site also links to external services, including Microsoft Outlook Bookings (when you book a discovery call), Dribbble, LinkedIn, X and Instagram. When you follow these links you leave our Site, and those services may set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control.
7. Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit the Site, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Your choice is remembered on your device for 12 months, after which we will ask again. You can change your mind at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics cookies.
You can also view, block and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working as intended. Find out how to manage cookies in your browser:
To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, you can also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on linked in section 5. Rejecting analytics cookies will not affect your ability to browse the Site.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information collected through cookies, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw any consent you have given. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent for analytics cookies and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for strictly necessary cookies.
More information about your rights and how to exercise them is available in our Privacy Policy, or you can contact us using the details below.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, when we add or remove a tool or when the law changes. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back periodically.
