About the role
As an HR Specialist, you’ll support every part of the employee experience at Veril Studio, making sure our people feel supported and our practices are fair and compliant as we grow a remote team.
What you’ll do
- Run onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors.
- Administer benefits, payroll inputs and HR records.
- Maintain policies, the employee handbook and compliance requirements.
- Support performance reviews and employee relations.
- Organise team culture initiatives for a remote team.
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of HR generalist or specialist experience.
- Knowledge of US employment law and multi-state remote compliance.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms (e.g. Gusto, Rippling).
- Strong discretion and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
- Experience in a startup or agency.
- Experience managing contractors or interns.
