Back End Developer
Design and build the APIs, data and infrastructure that power our web and mobile products.
About the role
As a Back End Developer, you’ll build the services our products depend on — secure APIs, well-modelled data, background jobs and integrations. You’ll care about reliability, performance and clean, maintainable code.
What you’ll do
- Design and build REST/GraphQL APIs and server-side business logic.
- Model data and write efficient, secure database queries and migrations.
- Implement authentication, authorization and access controls.
- Integrate third-party services and webhooks.
- Monitor, profile and improve performance and reliability.
- Write automated tests and documentation.
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years of back-end development experience.
- Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript, Python or Go.
- Strong SQL skills, ideally with Postgres.
- Experience with cloud services, containers and CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of security best practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with Supabase, row-level security or edge functions.
- Experience with queues, caching and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with payments (Stripe) or analytics pipelines.
