AI Developer / Prompt Engineer
Build the AI features inside our client products — from LLM-powered workflows to prompt systems that are reliable in production.
About the role
As an AI Developer / Prompt Engineer, you’ll design, build and evaluate the AI capabilities we ship to clients — assistants, content tools, search and automation. You’ll own the full loop: prompt and tool design, integration with our products, and the evaluations that prove it works.
What you’ll do
- Design prompts, tool definitions and agent workflows for client-facing AI features.
- Integrate LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI and others) into web and mobile products.
- Build evaluation sets and automated tests to measure quality, cost and latency.
- Implement retrieval (RAG), structured output and guardrails for safe behaviour.
- Prototype quickly with designers and product managers, then harden for production.
- Keep the team current on new models and best practices.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of software development experience in Python or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features to real users.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, tool use, embeddings and retrieval.
- Ability to design evaluations and reason about model failure modes.
- Strong product sense and clear communication.
Nice to have
- Experience with vector databases and search infrastructure.
- Familiarity with fine-tuning or model routing.
- Experience with voice or multimodal AI features.
